‘FEEL GOOD’ SATURDAY

Saturday 10th August

Join us on Saturday 10th August for a day of ‘feel good’ practical workshops and deeper dives into body work to set you up perfectly for a day off at the beach, or for travelling home refreshed after week 1 or prepping for week 2.

Join for 1, 2 or all 3 sessions, your body will thank you for it!

9.45 – 11.45 Kinstretch® tissue control & endurance class targeted towards joint longevity and musculoskeletal maintenance – with Laura Pero

Full body CARs (Controlled Articular Rotations)
Mobilising and activating each joint in isolation as a way to ignite and strengthen our functional movement capacities in preparation for any physical activity. CARs will build your understanding of your functional joint capacity and how, maintaining it daily, can serve your chosen skill practice.

CARs can become the ‘daily tooth brushing’ morning routine equivalent, for your joints and your fundamental movement health.

12.15 – 2:15 – Flexibility with Carolyn Ailsa

In this session we’ll focus on ways to improve and train your bridges and splits, building strength, stability and body awareness, suitable both for those new to contortion as well as those looking to further develop their skills.

It is recommended that attendees have some flexibility training experience.

Prerequisites include:
Bridge – this does not need to be perfect, but attendees must be comfortable pushing into a bridge on their own
Splits – these do not need to be flat yet but attendees must be working towards flat front and middle splits

2.45 – 4.45 – Stretch massage with Magalie Lanriot

Just the perfect way to ease you into your weekend.
In this session, you’ll be led through simple Tailendaise massage sequences (Shiatsu and Thai), to ease up any pain and soreness in the body, working with a partner to encourage greater flexibility, find space in the body and set you up for a relaxed day off ahead.
