Mark Morreau

Mark Morreau has been documenting the EADF since 2013, creating an invaluable record of the festival through film and photography.

Mark is a former circus performer, whose aerial career spanned three decades. Highlights included tours with NoFit State and The Generating Company, teaching at The Circus Space, training the aerialists for the Millennium Dome and the London 2012 Paralympic Ceremonies, and having fun hanging out with his mates in high places.

Since hanging up his leotard Mark has focussed on creating photography and video for circus, dance, and physical theatre companies, with a side hustle in projection design. His recent clients include the National Centre for Circus Arts, Complicité, Aswarm (Thor McIntyre-Burnie) , Curious Puppetry, Mish Weaver, Tilly Lee-Kronick, Scarabeus Aerial Theatre, Jacksons Lane, and many more.
Mark works with handstand artist Natalie Reckert, performing “Natalie Inside Out”, a two-person investigation into the intricacies of the handstand. “Natalie Inside Out” is currently touring in Europe.
