Christiana Stewart

Christiana Stewart is a UK based freelance dancer, choreographer, and Pilates instructor working internationally between the UK and Australia. Her practice is defined by versatility, athleticism, and a refined physical intelligence grounded in contemporary dance and classical ballet. She expands this foundation through acrobatics, aerial dance, and commercial and urban styles including hip hop and jazz, alongside Special Acts training (SPACTS), which combines martial arts for screen performance, creating a dynamic and adaptable movement language for both stage and screen.
Christiana trained with Motionhouse (2024) and completed the pre-professional program at Sydney Dance Company (2021). She holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance Performance (Distinction) from Queensland University of Technology, with a minor in Nutrition and Health Science, which informs her longevity-focused approach to training and performance.
Her performance career spans major international stages and interdisciplinary collaborations. Highlights include performing with Legs On The Wall at Brisbane Festival (Australia), UEFA Champions League Final Kick Off Show, performing with Boy Blue alongside Lenny Kravitz at Wembley Stadium, and presenting work at Resolution Festival at The Place, London.
Alongside her performance work, Christiana is a Pilates instructor teaching mat, reformer, and tower Pilates, as well as group fitness and 1:1 sessions across London and the West Midlands. She is the founder of The Moving Body by Christiana, a platform offering events and on-demand classes for dancers, aerialists, and everyday movers. Her teaching integrates strength, conditioning, mobility, and injury-informed training, shaped by her own experience of injury and ongoing rehabilitation within professional dance training, alongside ongoing prehab work to keep her body moving strong.
Her broader physical practice includes Pilates, yoga, martial arts, acrobatics, calisthenics, and strength conditioning, all contributing to a resilient and highly adaptable approach to movement.
Christiana’s work is driven by a commitment to pushing stylistic boundaries and bridging contemporary performance, athleticism, and cinematic sensibility to create physically precise and emotionally resonant work across stage and screen.
